About the colour

A red car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Our red cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for red in your request.

Under the hood

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

From your dates to the handover

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we need from you

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
