Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
