The figures, translated

Power comes from the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated at 19.8 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 59 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $103.95 at our price setting.

When the 1500 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

Inside and out

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Can you rent one?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

How it works

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Talk to a person

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
