The 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv: RideAlike alternative

RideAlike alternative and the 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The A4 and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,178 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

The pages for Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction cover the areas next door.

Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $40.95 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

The steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Rules for renters

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
