Renting the 2020 Audi Q5 Technik

The 2020 Audi Q5 Technik is on this page for RideAlike alternative: here is what to know before you request one. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The Q5 and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 9.7 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 29 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $16.97 at our price setting.

Living with the Q5

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. At 4.66 m from bumper to bumper, it is mid-size. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting one from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Who can rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Requesting a car

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Ready when you are

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
