Your Forester and rust repair

Searching for rust repair for the 2020 Subaru Forester Limited? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Rust is cut out or treated, then the area is refinished.

The car itself

Its beige paint is part of the quote: darker colours show swirls and scratches more readily. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.

Getting a quote

A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.

Pricing, plainly

Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.

Before you drop the car off

Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.

Timing

Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.

Aftercare

Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.

Java and the Forester

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.
