The Audi: Safety certificate

CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a safety certificate on the Audi, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

Details the shop needs

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.

How the request works

We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Stay on the road

Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Talk to a person

Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.

Request safety certificate

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
