Safety certificate: how we help

For a safety certificate on your 2022 Audi A4 Progressiv, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

Details the shop needs

The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic.

How the arrangement works

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.

Driving while yours is at the shop

We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Talk to a person

Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.

Other trims, places, colours and searches

Request safety certificate

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
