Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How we help
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. The rental is priced like any other on our site. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Talking to the shop
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
When you know your dates
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request safety certificate
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
