Arranging the work for the Corolla

Your 2016 Toyota Corolla CE needs a safety certificate? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A used car you buy in Ontario needs a Safety Standards Certificate before it can be plated.

Before the shop sees your Corolla

Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Corolla. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. If you have the service history of your Corolla, have it ready for the shop. It runs the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive.

From request to repair

You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.

Good habits for your car

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
