Your Corolla and the shop

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The engine is the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT).

What CarmaCars does here

We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.

Car care, briefly

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
