The 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE: Safety certificate

Need a safety certificate for the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Only a licensed inspection station can issue a Safety Standards Certificate in Ontario.

About your Corolla

Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 1.8L 4-cylinder. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Corolla. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The powertrain here is the 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT).

What we arrange

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
