Java and the A4

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 7.9 L/100 km, means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. It is 4.76 m from end to end. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer.

Your request, our offer, your keys

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Before pickup

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
