Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

Good uses for the A4

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Space and size

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

From your dates to the handover

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What you need to rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Make a request

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
