A rental while yours is in the shop

CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The BMW: Tire change

Need tire work for your BMW? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.

Your car, your notes

Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.

From request to repair

We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.

A rental while you wait

Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.

What to ask

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Over to you

A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.

Request tire change

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
