Tire change: how we help
For tire work on the BMW Active E, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How we help
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
A car meanwhile
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Questions first?
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request tire change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
