About the 1996 Eagle Summit

Searching for Turo alternative? Here is the 1996 Eagle Summit: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Specs, explained

It uses the 1.5L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.6 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $35.34 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

How big it is

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back. Its 311 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the Summit from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

From request to keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

What we need from you

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
