Renting: the basics
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Getting the car booked
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
