The 2016 Ford Flex: Turo alternative
Searching for Turo alternative and the 2016 Ford Flex? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The figures, translated
The 3.5L 6-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Combined fuel use is 12.4 L/100 km: about 37 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $19.22 in fuel at our price setting.
Space and size
As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.
When the Flex makes sense
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Before pickup
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
