Turo alternative: the Mazda 3
If you need a rental car, the Mazda 3 is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the figures tell you
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
The 3 in everyday use
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.
A good match for
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Can you rent one?
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Who can rent
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
Getting the car booked
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Can I rent a Mazda 3 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
