Want the 2012 Mazda 3 as a rental car? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the figures tell you

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 7.4 L/100 km: about 22 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $34.41 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Living with the 3

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 481 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting this car from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

How a booking comes together

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Over to you

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
