Turo alternative with this car
Want to know if the 2014 MINI Cooper suits a rental car? Read on. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Under the hood
Its 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo drives through a 6-speed manual. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Fuel use is rated 7.2 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 22 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $37.80 at our price setting.
Living with the Cooper
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo. For luggage, 255 litres means about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
When the Cooper makes sense
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
In our fleet
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Driver basics
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
Request, offer, keys
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
