The MINI Cooper: Turo alternative
Searching for Turo alternative and the MINI Cooper? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Size and space
As a small car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.
When the Cooper makes sense
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Renting this car
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Who can rent
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
How a booking comes together
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
Want a price?
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.

Can I rent a MINI Cooper in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
