Renting the 2016 MINI Cooper
Searching for Turo alternative and the 2016 MINI Cooper? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, paired with a 6-speed manual, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Fuel use is rated 7.5 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 23 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.13.
The Cooper in everyday use
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 255 litres, enough for about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
When the Cooper makes sense
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Renting the Cooper from CarmaCars
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
How it works
It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Rules for renters
Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
