Reading the spec sheet

Its 1.6L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 22 litres, from its 7.2 L/100 km rating. A 300 km weekend costs about $33.48 in energy at our price setting.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 708 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Good uses for the Kicks

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent it from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

The rules, briefly

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Requesting a car

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Ready when you are
