Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

The figures, translated

Its 1.8L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. That works out to about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the Corolla

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Our Corolla cars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Driver requirements

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How it works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Still deciding?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
