Turo alternative: the 2017 Toyota Corolla CE

This page joins two things: Turo alternative, and the 2017 Toyota Corolla CE in plain words. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The Corolla and Farmbrook

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 509 km from Farmbrook, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Farmbrook starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are close to Farmbrook, you may also be near Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village.

Specs, explained

It is powered by the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 23 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.6 L/100 km combined rating. Expect about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting one from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How booking works

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Your move

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
