Turo alternative: Volvo

Turo alternative: the Volvo

Searching for Turo alternative? Here is the Volvo: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the specs mean

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have no Volvo on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Booking, step by step

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Who can rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
