Turo alternative: the Volvo WHEB

For a rental car, the Volvo WHEB is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Specs, explained

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who rents the WHEB

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What to expect from the WHEB

Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.

Can I rent it?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The booking steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Your move

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
