Turo alternative and the 2002 Volvo FML
This 2002 Volvo FML page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Inside and out
As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
A good match for
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Renting this car
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Rules for renters
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
What happens when you ask for a car
The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
Ready to ask?
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.

Can I rent a 2002 Volvo FML in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
