The A4 and Knobs

Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the specs mean

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $13.83 at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

How a booking comes together

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Licence, age and card

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Still deciding?

Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
