The A4 and Knobs

If you need it in Knobs itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Knobs; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 692 km away.

Places around Knobs include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 24 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.83.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What the A4 is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. For luggage, 368 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

What happens when you ask for a car

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

When you know your dates

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
