Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Living with the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Rent it from us

The rules, briefly

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
