Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Our A4 cars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Checking your details

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Next step

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
