Specs, explained

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Our A4 cars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Checking your details

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Requesting a car

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
