What the specs mean

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 9.2 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 28 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $14.26 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Our Q5 cars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Still deciding?
