Van rental: the 2024 Audi Q5 Progressiv

This 2024 Audi Q5 Progressiv page is written for a van or a seven-seat car: the car first, then renting it from us. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

A note on Bald Knobs

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 780 km from Bald Knobs, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Bald Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Neighbouring areas include Houston, Freetown and Kurtz.

The figures, translated

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Plan on about 28 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.2 L/100 km. Expect about $14.26 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Space, size and seats

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

How booking works

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What we ask of drivers

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Make a request

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
