Reading the spec sheet

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

How big it is

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking in plain terms

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
