What the figures tell you

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. For 1,000 km, budget about $27.90 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Room inside

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

What we check

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Booking in plain terms

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
