Renting for Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

It is powered by the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.5 L/100 km rating. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.63 at our price setting.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Rent it from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How it works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Licence, age and card

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
