A note on Java

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Under the hood

It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 24 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.25 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Living with the RAV4

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

In our fleet

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

How it works

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What we ask of drivers

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Ready when you are

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
