A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

The numbers in plain words

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. That works out to about $12.25 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who the RAV4 suits

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Living with the RAV4

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Getting this car from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check.

Checking your details

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Your move

Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
