Engine and fuel

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Renting this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Who qualifies

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

How renting with us works

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
