Java and the A4

The pages for Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners cover the areas next door.

Under the hood

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

How it works

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
