What the figures tell you

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Booking with CarmaCars

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Who qualifies

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

When you know your dates

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
