Van rental: 2012 BMW Active E

Renting the 2012 BMW Active E

For a van or a seven-seat car, the 2012 BMW Active E is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The numbers in plain words

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the Active E makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Practical details

As a small car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.

Renting the Active E from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Booking in plain terms

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What to bring

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Still deciding?

Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
