Van rental: BMW Active E

Van rental with this car

Van rental: the BMW Active E. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Reading the spec sheet

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Best uses

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.

Can you rent one?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Next step

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
