Van rental: grey 2018 Nissan Kicks SR in Java

Van rental: the 2018 Nissan Kicks SR

Here is the 2018 Nissan Kicks SR from the angle of someone searching for van rental. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Kicks and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 1.6L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 7.2 L/100 km combined: about 22 litres every 300 km. That works out to about $11.16 per 100 km at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 708 litres for luggage, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What happens when you ask for a car

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What we check

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
