Renting for Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

What the figures tell you

Under the hood: the 2.5L 4-cylinder and all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.2 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $127.10 at our price setting.

What the Forester is like

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting this car from us

What to expect when you book

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
