Arranging the work for the Ocean
The Fisker Ocean and a wheel alignment: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How we help
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Your rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Make a request
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
